Comfortable Walking Shoes
Anyone who has done a lot of walking, for work or pleasure, knows the value of a good pair of comfortable walking shoes. Did you know that a walking shoe is a light comfortable shoe designed for vigorous walking, and the vamp covers the dorsum of the foot. The quarter is the complete upper part of the shoe behind the vamp line covering the sides and backpart. The top edge of the sides and back of the quarter describes the topline of the shoe. In athletic shoes the topline is often padded and referred to as a collar.
